Wedding Dress Shopping – Think About Your Body Type

Your wedding dress selection is likely to be one of the most important moments in your life as a bride. The search for the perfect wedding dress can sometimes prove to be more difficult than you expected. You may not be able to wear the bridal gown that you fell in love with while perusing wedding magazines.

It is a good idea to determine your body type. The majority of models that you see in magazines wearing wedding dresses are a "triangle" shape. However, the vast majority are pear-shaped. It will make shopping for dresses easier and more enjoyable once you know your body shape. Come and fall in love with your dream dress at the wedding dress shop.

A bridal gown that flatters and fits your body will make you look and feel more confident. The most popular body shape is the Pear Shaped. We recommend that you choose a full-length A line skirt to cover your hips and a fitted bodice with strapless to show off your upper body. Your waist is highlighted by the bodice's diagonal ruching and draping.

Empire lines are another great option. Straight cut, mermaid and bias-cut dresses will not draw attention to your hips as much as gathered or pleated skirts. Hourglass figures have well-defined waist and curvy hips. A fishtail shape is a great choice for hourglass women who are slim. Do not choose an empire-line style that will hide your best features.

Instead, opt for a gown that shows off your small waist. A corset or two-piece gown. You could also use an A-line skirt or a dropped waist. A sweetheart neckline would emphasize your bust. Apple shapes are curvy, voluptuous and have full breasts.
